Eurasian Adam, My Great x Bajillion GrandDaddy

I have just purchased my Genographic Project Public Participation Kit online. It will be delivered in 6-8 weeks and it will be a few weeks more for testing after I return the cheek swab. I will know my ancestry within the next few months *rubbing hands together gleefully*

Here's a blog on the results of one participant.

"The very widely dispersed M168 marker can be traced to a single individual รข€” “Eurasian Adam.” This African man, who lived some 31,000 to 79,000 years ago, is the common ancestor of every non-African person living today. His descendants migrated out of Africa and became the only lineage to survive away from humanity’s home continent."
